Opening ceremony of @ipweek, an event organized by the Dominican Intellectual Property Association @adopi, to commemorate World Intellectual Property Day which will be celebrated on April 26th, with this year’s theme chosen by @wipo being “Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity”. 💪🏻

On the first day, two panels were held focusing on highlighting the role of women in the Dominican Republic: “Women, Camera, Action: Intellectual Property in the Film Industry” and “The Crucial Role of Intellectual Property for Women Entrepreneurs: Protecting Innovation and Business Success”.

This Master Class is SO practical, just look at who has joined us! Our friends and colleagues from @onapi_rd will be present and will help participants conduct searches for the names and trademarks they want to register.

“Emprende en Orden” is the group space where we guide new business owners to acquire the knowledge they need to ensure that their business operates in full compliance with the law. 🚀

Our partner @lauravcastillo was teaching at the diploma course in Intellectual Property and Law at Universidad de los Andes with @somoselapi. 👩🏻💼

The module was titled “Legal tools and strategies for the protection of intellectual assets” In this they could see about the identification of intellectual assets, intangibles and forms of protection, as well as administrative and friendly actions.🙌🏻

We work hand in hand with our customers to help them together with @aduanasrd to detect the entry of counterfeit and unauthorized products for distribution. In this way we can safeguard brand rights 🙌🏻.

Counterfeits affect the economies of all countries🌎👎🏻. Its ramifications affect everyone, as governments, businesses and society are deprived of tax revenues, corporate profits and jobs.
