She holds an LL.M. from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and an LL.M. in Law and Globalisation with a focus on Intellectual Property, Global Corporate Governance, International Arbitration, and International Trade from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. Her academic background provides her with a global perspective on the protection and development of intangible assets and business innovations.
With over 10 years of professional experience, her work has focused on intellectual property, corporate law, and regulatory matters. At Innventiva, she manages global trademark portfolios, advises on trademark and patent application strategies, and contributes to the preparation of IP agreements and portfolio audits.
Laura is an active participant in the global IP community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Latin American School of Intellectual Property (ELAPI), and as a member of various working committees within INTA, ASIPI, and ADOPI. She is also the Vice Chair of Business Development for HYPE at the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) and a member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association (GHBA).
Additionally, she is a frequent speaker at international conferences and forums on intellectual property.
